The performance from best counting down HD4870 1Gb, same 512Mb, HD4850 1Gb, same 512Mb and 9800GTX 512Mb. If you are meaning 9800GTX+ then it is equal to HD4850. All of these cards are plenty for a resolution of 1360 x 768.

With your setup, I would suggest the GTS250. It's good enough to handle your resolutions AND higher ones, should you wish to. Plus you get PhySx with nVidia. The price difference isn't much.

A li'l off your query, but your call really. :)

At that resolution, the 4850 1GB priced at 100$ would be a good option.A GTS 250 1GB would be equally good and its priced similar to the 4850. Get the one that is cheaper. However if you want DirectX 11 gaming, then give the 5750 a consideration. It is priced at 125$.

I would go with the 5750. (or the 5670 if you can't afford the 5750) No point in buying the 9800/GTS250. DX10 will be jumped by DX11. The 4850 or 4870 with their DX10.1 might be an oik stop gap card.
