Hello, im wondering if these following graphics cards will work on this computer and i have a few questions

is it worth the extra money to get the gt 240 and will it work on the computer?? link for the computer is on first post

Some other questions

Is it worth spending the extra money to get the gt 240?

Will i be able to run cod 4?? if so what graphics on?

What graphics would i be able to have on wow with about 30 fps??

It looks like it will work. The Packard Bell has an open PCI-E x16 slot according to the specs. Graphics is listed as Nvidia 7050 which is an onboard graphics solution.

the GT240 doesn't appear to need an external PCI-E power connector so the PCI-E slot should provide all the power it needs.

Well Calvin, that PC is not built for gaming at all. That E3300 is really going to struggle at 2.5Ghz/800FSB and only 1MB of L2 Cache. Also the PC only has 2GB of RAM with isn't really recommend for gaming.

A GT240 will definitely help, I would imagine you could play CoD on medium settings at something like 1280 x 1024 Res. Not sure about WoW as I've never played it

i think it will do ill only be playing css wow and cod4 dont really need a super comuter also omgitzfatal do u think u'll be able to find a better graphics card at arround that price?? and could u find the best computer for gaming at arround the same price on pcworld?? maybe £20 pound more?? i havent got alot of money atm
