SSD portablised

Hey guys i'm new to tom's hardware forums

So i was thinking about putting a SSD into a 2.5 inch portable HDD case with USB 3.0. Is that possible? will the 44 pin (i think ) fit the SSD or would I need a converter or something?

yes if you buy an HD Case with SATA conections and is USB 3 compliant you can do this.
