Hi everyone. I've been looking for a GPU for my first build: AMD Phenom II X4 965, Asus Crosshair IV Formula and Cooler Master Silent Pro M600 600W. After some research I think that the 57xx series are the ones that fit my needs better. I'll play at 1280x1024. I'd like to OC a little bit since I bought a good case. I've got some models in mind:

5750
- Asus Radeon HD 5750 Formula 1GB = 137€
- Sapphire Radeon HD 5750 Vapor-X 1GB = 143€
- HIS HD5750 IceQ+ 1GB = 163€

5770
- Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 512MB = 132€
- Asus Radeon HD 5770 CuCore 1GB = 160€
- Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 1GB = 168€
- HIS HD5770 IceQ 5 Turbo 1GB = 173€
- Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X 1GB OC = 178€

My questions:

1 - Is the 57xx a good decision? I've read that the 4890 is slightly better but I cannot find it in my habitual shops.
2 - What model would you choose?
2 - Would you wait for the lowest Nvidia GTX 460 model (if it really costs 200€)?

Thanks a lot,

Yeah, the 512mb HD5770 looks like the best deal up there and should be excellent for your resolution. You don't need anything more powerful.
