Toms hardware pci-e x1 obstruction solution

Hello,
Are there any plug/sockets around that will free a PCI-E x1 slot from mobo heatsink obstructions? Wanting to lift a card up by at least 5mm otherwise silicon goo will have to be implemented. Dont really want to short things out

First off, would electrical tape be a better option?

Second, have you considered how you will secure the PCIe card after you have raised it up out of the reach of slot in the back fo the case (I'm assuming this is an internal RAID card or something you won't need to access from the back of your case).

A Google search for PCIE RISER, and a lengthy scan through the various parts to find the few non-right-angle risers may get you what you want.
