I'm looking for a great OC'ing motherboard (Thermalright Silver Arrow as a cooler). I do not need SLI/Crossfire capability, however it seems that most of the motherboards without it are not capable of high overclocks. Suggestions please :D

I don't know if it will help but here is my proposed build:

CPU: i5 2500k
CPU Cooler: Silver Arrow
GPU: MSI 570
PSU: Corsair 650W
Case: Coolermaster Storm Enforcer
SSD: Crucial Force 3

Essentially i'm looking for the best i can get for the least £££ possible.

well any motherboard with a good brand and a p67 or z68 chipset will overclock that cpu almost the same. if you are going really extreme (like over 5Ghz) there is the amount of current you need to worry about (you might need a board with two 8 pin CPU power connector's).

AS Rock P67 Pro3 or
MSI P67S-C43 or
Intel DP67DEB3 or
MSI P67A-C43 or
Intel DP67BAB3 or
AS Rock P67 Pro3 SE or
Asus P8P67-M or
Gigabyte GA-P67A-D3-B3

just get any P67 of Z68 s1155 socket, every one of those will overclock your cpu. just look for a B3 in the comments of the motherboard because of the problem with the first gen P67 motherboards.
