Its a Toshiba L505D-GS6000,My friend's laptop,he wants a Quad-Core, I told him this was almost impossible,is it?

^Yes there is. Its called Mobile Phenoms.^

However, it wont work AFAIK, There are no DDR2 controller within the new Champlains, which switched to DDR3. However, the mobile Phenoms are almost impossible to find arm, and costs $200+.

If he really wants a quad, it would actually cost less if he sold this one and just buy a new one. Heres one for only $600:
