I have an 8 year old Dell Dim. 4550. A fan went out a while back. Then recently, it stopped recognizing the 2nd internal hard drive. Then one night it froze up. I left it alone overnight, still frozen in the morning. Turned it off. Went to turn it on and it wouldn't. My external drive light has done nothing but flash since. Wondering now if I need to replace the power supply and which one to get? Need to know which replacement fan to look for also. Don't know if it's worth repairing, replacing parts, etc.. Mainly concerned with recovering data on the two internal hard drives, and the external hard drive, and how to do it. UGH! The external hard drive was my backup. Hooked it up to another computer, and it is not recognized. Don't know what to do or how. Thanks in advance for any tips or advice!
