For more of a guarantee: Most motherboard manufacturers test a whole lot of RAM with their boards. They post a list of RAM that they test. Go here and download the memory QVL. Confirm that your RAM is on that list. If it is, it will almost certainly work at the specs they list in the QVL. This is the most reliable way to pick out RAM for your motherboard.
