Dispensing with video cards - to view web site videos

What specs for RAM, etc. should a low end laptop without a "graphics" specification have so that it will still play the low quality videos that I want to view on various websites?

for RAM, 2GB is a minimum for today's standard...
For watching videos or any office work, you should have a good CPU.

Thanks again. I plan on an upgrade to 2 gb. The old machine struggles along with 256mg, so the video quality is marginal, presently. Audio comes through OK, though.

With 256mb it likely struggles just running a modern operating system.
