Bit of a mod spoiler

I fancied a change of order so I thought this time around I will do Umar
early on so popped into valygars house and upstairs due to mod found a
mighty tough illusionist - what a battle that was.

My lvl 9 party barely managed it on third attempt - good kit and xp though )

Is this a sign of things to come? I am getting scared.

Yes. Tactics is a mod meant for people who play the unmodded game on
Insane and find themselves thinking, "This is too easy."

Haha - the first time I played Tactics (all components installed) it
was looking like my character would suffer 100+ deaths - 21 deaths
just making it out of chateau irenicus! I managed to get on somewhat
of a roll towards the end (comparatively anyway) and finished with a
mere 78 deaths. ;-)

You are right to be scared.

With that encounter, I've found it a bit easier to lure the upstairs monsters
to chase you downstairs first, then fight them. You can sometimes get them one
at a time.
