How to install windows xp on asus e2200 laptop

I cant install an operating system on my laptop..which is Windows Xp sp2..
the cdrom of my laptop wont detect on boot se-up.. EVEN though the CD ROM working properly on DESKTOP....I wanted to re-install the Windows again...

WHAT SHOULD I DO pls... HELP

IM already try it..but it would appear that system fail..bcoz the atapi cd rom detect NONE....but when I go to desktop on my previous OS the CD ROm working properly>....

YESS IM sure of it that the cd's is not damage or scratch...coz when on the desktop it was boot-up.. when the windows starts...
