5450 HD to 5670 HD?

Hey,
Just wondering if I will have to uninstall the drivers when I swith to the 5670 HD since they are both in the ATI 5000 series? If so, I uninstall drivers, power down, swap cards, power up in safe mode, and install new drivers from amd.com?
