How did I do for my first build?

Friends,

This hasn't been ordered yet. I was hoping to get some feedback. This is my first build I have assembled with the help of a few others. Goals are light gaming (sc2 on ultra), music, poker.

There is nothing wrong with this build, and given the strategy game goals I would say the quad is a good choice.

However, I feel you could sacrifice a bit of power (not PSU quality, just amps) for a bit more GPU.

I have found out that 2 cores of my Q6600 are not used at all during gameplay of SC2.

Seasonic is a very good choice.

GTX 260 or HD5770 should be about in the same price range, and here where I live you can get GTX460 only with €10-€20 more.

Heh I meant GTX 460, been doing that since they came out.

I found others saying the opposite on the CPUs.... let me see what I can dig up.

Looks like I'll have to go eat crow on a few other threads Thanks guanyu.

The board may let you unlock more cores on the CPU anyway.
