Planar PX2611w.

5ms response and less than 8ms of input lag as tested by ToastyX from http://hardforum.com/. He is a well respected and knowledgeable active member of the forum.

Price just under $800. I'm happy with mine.

The 30" IPS monitors, NEC, dell, and LG sells the same panel. Those have nearly no input lag... practically no input as well lol but they work.

^^^

They do have input lag especially if you are referring to the NEC 3090WUXi which has internal video processing electronics to improve image quality for professional graphics usage.

so far based on my research, the current best bang for the back IPS is

Dell 2209WA which costs $319, it has 9ms and it uses E-IPS in which according to most threads that i read is the best type of IPS
(It terms of quality, it would e-IPS, S-IPS, AS-IPS, IPS-Pro and H-IPS)
!
