Oct 24, 2010, 5:14 PM
I'm trying to recover data from a Samsung Hd642jj hard drive and need to know what stripe size I have. The operating system used was Vista. How can I determine what the stripe size is? Thanks

best way that I've ever had to do is boot the comuter the array was on, enter the raid untility at bootup and examine the raid there.

It sounds like the array has failed and he is trying to either remove the data or reinstall the drive back into an array?
Was this a software or hardware RAID, did you accept the defaults when building it? Need a little more data before we guess...
