Buying a AMD phenom II x4 965BE with this board http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0342511 from microcenter, since the board is only 9.99 extra with their special deal. Total price comes to $625. Using my Antec nine hundred case from before and the PSU is a 600 watt HEC.

Well, basically the PSU is supposed to deliver a constant 12V and if it would handle this badly, or just sucks all over it could potentially crap up your computer. Various problems can appear e.g. random shutdowns, consant bluescreens of death. Anyways, I would recommend a Corsair to do the job, you could never go wrong with Corsair! While you're in store, you could as well pick up a H50 processor cooler, that would be awesome if you finally deside to overclock! :D

With the stock fan that i got with my 965BE, how much can i OC it to safely? My antec nine hundred has 5 120mm fans and a big 140mm ontop. The mobo I got for free at microcenter with my processor was this one, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130278 btw (MSI 785G-E53 AM3 AMD 785G HDMI ATX) I might refund the psu back then and see if i can get a trade in for another of equal value ($40-45) if you can recommend me a better one..thanks.
