Slow/Faulty wireless mouse

Howdy chaps,

Hope this is going in the right forums..

Im running windows 7 and recently my microsoft wireless mouse has started to get unresponsive, tried reinstalling drivers, new batteries, even to the point of miving the receiver 2 cms from the mouse itself.

The keyboard seemed functional still regardless..

All seemed to be well with it prior to my upgrade to dual monitors. (I doubt thats the cause but it the age old, the mechanic fixed my wheels and now the radios not working so it MUST be something they did)

So I buy a new logitech wireless mouse and keyboard. Seems ok for the first few days now the mouse is doing the same thing. (slow to respond, ignores mouse clicks from time to time)

Im running a

Q6600 overclocked to 3.0
Gigabyte EP35-DS3P
Windows 7 64bit
Gigabyte 465 GTX

any suggestions?

More about slow faulty wireless mouse
  1. is the set up near a 2.4ghz phone or a microwave? That would mess it up.
  2. nope, But,

i installed latest nvidia reference drivers, and confirmed the old ms mouse was dead...logitech is now doing the job for me.
