Hello,

I am interested in building my own PC for the first time. Primarily for Civ V, I've been waiting for the system requirments to pull the trigger on anything. They are:

Recommended Requirements

Operating System: Windows Vista SP2/ Windows 7
Processor: 1.8 GHz Quad Core CPU
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Hard Disk Space: 8 GB Free
DVD-ROM Drive: Required for disc-based installation
Video: 512 MB ATI 4800 series or better, 512 MB nVidia 9800 series or better
Sound: DirectX 9.0c-compatible sound card
DirectX: DirectX version 11

I would like to keep the cost between 700-900 (not including monitor, mouse & keyboard)

Thanks In advance for your help!

This looks like the preferable build in terms of price & quaility. I'll do some background research into all the parts listed to make sure in the mean time other suggestions are more than welcome.

Cheers!
