Hey guys, well this will be my first time attempting to build a PC. I have absolutely no experience with any process of building a PC other than all the research I'm currently doing, and I don't really know anyone who is experienced with this to ask them. So I would just like all your thoughts on this build as its nearly complete, and I need advice on whether I need to change some parts out and what parts to add in.
APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within about a month hopefully
BUDGET RANGE: $700-$1,000 Before rebates
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Streaming Videos, Browsing Internet, Emulators, Homework
PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Mouse, Speakers, (Might need a keyboard but honestly I can deal with that on my own later)
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Wherever the best deal is, although I like the wide selection of newegg
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: United States
PARTS PREFERENCES: Definitely want the Cooler Master RC 690 II, EVGA GTX 460 1GB, and I like the rest of the parts I have chosen already, but I will change if necessary.
OVERCLOCKING: No
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No
MONITOR RESOLUTION: Don't know yet, open to suggestions
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Aesthetics are not really important here, would definitely rather have proper performance/reliability/low temps/low power output/easy install?. I'm currently using a Razer Megalodon headset which has a built-in sound card in it, do I still need to buy a sound card for my PC? Also I would like this PC to last me around 5 years comfortably, I know that is an extremely long time for some of you but thats how it is haha.

Also I'm not sure if I need more than stock CPU cooling or not since I'm not planning to overclock, however if i DO need an aftermarket cooler, which would be best for my build? I'm familiar with http://www.frostytech.com/top5heatsinks.cfm however I'm not sure which one to pick out of the pack except for the fact I'd like to spend 60$ or less on a cooler IF i NEED it.
And finally I want windows 7 home premium 64 bit, but I dont know which to choose because newegg has alot of different ones and I dont exactly know the difference http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=windows+7+home+premium&x=0&y=0. Also what drivers/etc and such do I need to download beforehand, and do i need anything else?
