5770 and 5830

I plan to do some mild overclocking and plan to run the cards on 1920 x 1080 screen

5830 performs better... especially when overclocked at high res! EASY CHOICE = 5830

If you are only going for a mild overclock then you don't need the hawk. This card for $30 less would be a good choice and is a better value for the money than the HD5830;

I would go 5830, if you can afford it, some games will appreciate the extra muscle over the 5770 at 1920x1080..

Saying that, the 5770 is better value for money!

The 5830 isn't much of an overclocker since it has an 800MHz clock already. Still, it's not too much more and the 5830 will generally preform better. Personally though I would either get the Hawk and overclock the crap out of it, or spend a little more for a 5850.

5830 is a superb overclocker like all 5xxx series its easy to get to the near upper limit of 1ghz with pretty much any 5830 5850 or 5870 with slight voltage bump!
