Hello,

I need your help with a new system that I'm going to buy this weekend.
So, let me show you the template.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: This weekend, if possible tomorrow.

BUDGET RANGE: $1000-$1200 After rebates (Only $1200 if it's REALLY worth it)

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, App. Development, Photoshop, Watching Movies, if possible TV.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: OS not needed neither speakers.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg.com

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: US

PARTS PREFERENCES: I like how the black AMD cpu sounds with a 24" LCD with HD support.

OVERCLOCKING: If it is not that hard and secure, would be nice.

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: If possible, I would be able to throw another video card in the next months. (If this doesn't affect the top $1,200 tag)

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Not really sure, would hear options.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I will be checking this thread all day today and tomorrow until we have something, could reply questions really fast.

Hey thanks for the quick reply, just a few questions, is that crossfire capable? or overclocking possible? Just want to know, also, any good 24" LCD that you would recommend?

AWESOME! From what I could read, this set is also ready to throw another Radeon HD 5850 in the few months to crossfire right? and being the price under $1000 I could really use some little extras like TV card? Any other extras you could recommend, under $1100 for that rig seems awesome!

That MSI 870 is 16/4 and not recommended to CF Am also an advocate of single GPU set ups i would just upgrade to the next gen bang for buck GPU for the games of tommorrow

Aww :(  No tv then haha.. the neon light seems nice, ill get one of those, also now that you talk about Sound Cards, I have a Logitech X540 set of speakers, could I use the full potential with this motherboard without a sound card? Because it has 3 connections for front rear and subwoofer I think, and right now im only able to use the green one... :S

Ok, the question was mainly because I only saw 3 connections on the motherboard for sound, so if I use a headset for gamming (Mostly for the Mic) it would affect right? since I wont be able to connect the mic part of the headset to the motherboard sound?

Ok so far, this is what I got, I made just a swap for the motherboard since that issue with the channels I think its going to affect me :(  Let me know if I did wrong cause that swap added like $100 USD.

So how else can I solve the issue about the need to use my headset for gaming and only having 3 plugs for sound? :(

I am of the view that any wired USB kb/mouse is fine and "gaming" kb/mouse are over hyped so depends on your P.O.V ^^
