5850 and E6750?

Hi,

Can a E6750 OC'ed to 3.2 ghz be coupled with an ATI 5850? Will there be any bottlenecking? Or should i opt for a 5770?

Hello and welcome to the forums
Well a 5770 suffices for that res, but if you want to max out every game with AA/AF,then go with 5850.
As for your CPU,a 3.2 dual core CPU will be fine with almost all games(since most games are GPU limited)

  4. For choosing the best answer, you have to open make a "Question",this thread is currently a "Discussion" which won't let you select an answer.
Edit, now you can select it.(I changed it to a question)
  5. Here is a link to what my 5770 can do: http://www.frozentek.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?5711 . Now imagine what your card can do. I would say go for the 5850 witch would help also if in the future you want to buy a full HD monitor.
I have the same CPU but at 3.4GHz.
