I had this computer built for video editing and it runs fine rendering HD video its a win 7 64bit system
It has 6 ram of memory installed but only shows 2 ram on the system window in control panel
is this normal?

While running your app, open task manager and click on the performance tab.. Check out how much RAM it lists being used and how much is left unused.. That should give you the idea of total RAM amount recognized by windows..

IF they dont work together in slots 1,3,5 try them in 2,4,6.

If the above doesnt work, insert 1 RAm at a time ,check if it works, then swap with another to make sure all ram sticks are working, then add another one at a time to see.

Hi after reading all posts submited by everyone (ITHANK YOU ALL)I took the side of the computer removed the small cooling fan covering the RAM to verify that they are in the correct slots they are
I then replaced the fan over the RAM started Win 7 and opend control panel/ system window
