  2. sorry about this. posted twice
  3. Yup, that will do quite well.
  4. hi ct is it posbile to use nvidia card on that board? i dont really get the combination of brands.
  5. Yes you can, you can use a single card on any board with a PCI-E slot so you could put something like a GTX 460 on it which will give you even better performance.
  6. gtx2 460 is out of my budget for around 150$ is the 5770 the best i could get?
  7. also is 500w psu enough for this rig
  8. off to microcenter tom anymore advices :D sc2 on high to ultra setting :D
  9. read the sticky about how to ask for build advice.

as a tip, i can run SC2 on ultra settings at 1080p on my HTPC, which has an athlon II 635 and a 5770 and 3gb of RAM.

i would recommend going for a similar build. a dual core is no longer a good choice, since so many games will use more than that. either go for a triple or quad core athlon II.

if you fill the template and provide a budget, i can put something together for you.
  10. thanks ct also about ram what does latency do?
