Upgrading GPU and Monitor

Have about a 900 $ budget, looking at this monitor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236065&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-RSSDailyDeals-_-na-_-na&AID=10521304&PID=3463938&SID= but I'm not exactly sure what GPU to get with it, I could get a 5970 because I have a 750W PSU but the 480 here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500166&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Video+Cards-_-ZOTAC-_-14500166 looks good for the price and i could get a nice mouse and mat with the extra cash.

you're best bet is to buy two MSI cyclone GTX460's. They run ultra cool and u can overclock the **** out of htem. Two of those for $400 will destroy a 480

Complete over kill for a 23" monitor and so is the 5970.

Well I would need hacked drivers to use SLI as I have a crosshair IV MOBO, and my PSU and Case can fit anything so its fine.

Please continue to add suggestions

EDIT:
CPU: AMD X4 965 BE Revision C3 @stock (waiting for AMD to make a better gaming CPU)
PSU: 750W Silencer, has enough 8 and 6 pins for anything... (but Xfire would be hard without an upgrade.
Case: Hades NXZT
MOBO: Crossfire IV
HDD: Some Seagate at 10,000 not important looking at some SSD for OS and games
