Used disc sanitizer now cannot load OS again

I have an HP Compaq 610 laptop. I ran disc sanitizer and am unable to reload OS system - Non-system disc or disc error. replace and strike any key when ready. I put the disc containing Microsoft Office Office Home and Student 2007 in the CD ROM drive but nothing happens. I also tried F10 - computer setup - "Restore Defaults" but didn't work. Please help!

It sounds like you are trying to boot to an office cd, which you can not do. You need the operating system disc to be able to boot to it to reinstall windows.

Locate the operating system disc and then try booting to that.
