You linked a hard drive as DVD burner, besides that it looks good.
Was the MB i chose overkill? or were you saying i should get an overkill MB?
And do you think the athlon is a better choice then phenom? i dont what to have to upgrade anytime too soon. ;)
thanks for you input!

Oops :(  well, thats the hard drive... and THIS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
is the DVD burner!

The motherboard you picked was overkill, and the Athlons are good cheap cpus ;)

So do you think that with ATI Radeon 5770 (eventually 2 of em crossfired) will run most games on highish to moderate setting with decent fps

and also would it be overkill to run the 2 cards with that cpu?

Mr Pizza, for crossfire better the two PCIex16 slots should run at x8x8 or 16x8 or x16x16, x16x4 doesn't cut it very well.

GIGABYTE GA-890XA-UD3

AMD Phenom II X4 955 + XFX P1-650X-CAG9 650W

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

ASUS Black 24X DVD
