Hdd size problem

the actual size of external hdd is 320 but i am able to see only 290 gb in diskpart. how to resolve the problem

  2. This is what happen when lying marketers get a hold of facts . . . They lie.

    320GB should be 343,597,383,680 bytes.

    Marketing teams declare that it's too confusing, so they decided that 320GB should be 320,000,000,000 bytes. But since your software doesn't lie, that works out to 298GB of actual usable space on a drive advertised as 320GB.
