ASUS -P5QP ASUS P5Q PRO MOTHER BOAD WITH Q6600 INTELL QUAD CORE CHIP IM NOT INTO PC\'S I HAD A FAULT WHEN BOOTING UP CPU OVER TEMPERTURE ERROR F1 TO RESUME LOOKED IN THE TEMP BIOS IT SHOWS CPU TEMP 100\'C / 212F CHECKED THE PASTE ON THE CPU LOOKS OK AND THE CPU FAN WORKING OK ITS A NEW ARTIC COOLONG FREEZER EXTREAME LOOKING FOR HELP I VE CHECKED ALL WIRES IN PC THE PC GOES INTO WINDOWS XP THEN JUST SHUTS DOWN DO I NEED TO RE-APPLY MORE PASTE TO CPU ? Firstly.... Ever heard of a term in English called punctuations?

Secondly... Don't write in CAPS.

Thirdly... Make the post a little more readable.

From what i understand it seems that the heat sink isn't properly seated. Check that.

Don't apply more paste, and turn caps lock off, and don't post your email address.

Check the CPU fan is spinning freely.

If this doens't work, remove the heatsink and clean all the TIM off both it and the CPU.

Apply a tiny bit of fresh tim (grain of rice is a popular size) in the centre of the CPU. Press the heatsink on and make sure it is clipped/bolted in from diagonal corners first.
