How to format hard disk using bios settings

Hello,
i have Ubuntu on my system but i want to change my OS is there anyway I can format the C drive from Bios ??

If you install Windows 7, then just change the 1st boot drive priority to cd/dvd & 2nd your hdd. then restart your pc.
After restarting your pc shows "press any key to boot from CD" when you press any key then windows 7 start to boot . and you choose custom install and delete your drive.
if you have any problem regarding this then please inform me.

i did this process....but Not showing The msg "press any key to boot from CD" ...................wat to do...?

I have same problem , and heres the solution...

Boot form BIOS, chose Primary boot option/First Boot option
CD or DVD or YOUR DVD ROOM NAME
(before that insert disc)

then form Secound chosee

DISABLE or NONE!!

i try it with ubuntu! it works :ptdr:

hello i have 1 problem, currently am using win7 but my system has not taking for booting, when i give for booting through CD drive it shows booting failed what have to do for this?
