you are saying that I should remove the HDD and install a SSD...
Can I install it in the data card slot...... I just want to use it just for the boot of my laptop and sleep....

And do you know how much RAM other supports right now I have installed 2.49GB...
  3. You can buy the hard drive caddy like those http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&keywords=hard%20drive%20caddy&page=1&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Ahard%20drive%20caddy and put the SSD into it then take the CD/DVD out.

r60 only supports up to 3GB maximum memory because intel chipsets 945GM and 945PM (32-bit) do not support more than 3GB system memory (RAM), see the info from intel http://ark.intel.com/products/27858/Intel-82945PM-Memory-Controller
