8 Gb of Ram installed only 3.97gb usable on Asus P7H55D-M Pro

Hello,
i have just install 4x2gb 1333Mhz RAM on Asus P7h55d-m pro but the bios and Windows 7 64 bit shows only 3.97gb of Ram usable,any idea,bios version is latest..plz

In your bios, there is a "memory remap" setting. You may need to set this to "enabled" It's under "Advanced menu" -> "Uncore configuration"

You may also try re-seating your RAM.

This (some RAM not recognized) could also happen if any pins on your CPU are bent (they sometimes get bent while you install them).
