Hello! I'm havig a lot of issues with my seagate 500 GB, it works fine, I can open any file. but i can't open steam and any other software installed there, just files such pictures and videos. And when I start up my pc. This appears, it says S.M.A.R.T status: Error, here the picture. I don't really know what means. what should I do. Should I replace it? thanks for reading.

Solution
Yes replace the drive, and get your files backed up off it asap.

If it's under warranty contact the manufacture of your machine, or the drive manufacture if you built it yourself.

the SMART error is a warning the drive is failing, which the only solution is replacing it.

Check if seagate has a diagnostic tool you can download and run. Western digital does and it told me that my drive was bad. Although I already knew that before I used it.
