How can I install Windows 7 to SSD?

I want to upgrade my PC with a boot drive SSD and keep my HDD for files and games. I was told that a clean install of the OS is best as migrating is a bad idea. But because I bought my PC at a store before upgrading, I don't have the Install CD, just the Product key that is on a sticker on the side of my case.
Does Microsoft supply Win 7 Home Premium install disks or is there a way to burn my own from my system legally?

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit X86
AMD Athlon ii x4 630 @ 2.8GHz
4x2GB (8GB total) DDR3 SDRAM 10600 @ 1333MHz
Foxconn 2A92 MOBO
Radeon 6570 1GB DDR3
750 GB 3.5'' HDD 7200 RPM
Antec EarthWatts 380W PSU
26'' LCD Plug and Play TV/Monitor (1360x768 native)

  1. Often you also can create recovery dvds, which allows to restore the factory setting. But these installation are often factory loaded with a lot of pre installed stuff.
But nevertheless it is always good to have these dvds, so burn them and use the MS download.
