MOBO or AC Adapter? Tags: Power Supplies Components Last response: October 28, 2010 1:07 PM in Components Share 5n4p October 28, 2010 6:33:53 AM A ticking sound is coming from the adapter when it is plugged into the MOBO. The multimeter gives good reads on the adapter. I cannot seem to get a good read off the DC Jack... Is this a bad dc jack that would cause the ticking? More about : mobo adapter calmstateofmind October 28, 2010 6:39:57 AM Sounds like a factory defect to me. I'd try sending it back for a new one if you still can. m 0 l 5n4p October 28, 2010 1:07:01 PM Not a very productive answer, but thanks anyways. Anyone else have an idea of what could be causing the ticking? m 0 l Can't find your answer ? Ask !
