MOBO or AC Adapter?

A ticking sound is coming from the adapter when it is plugged into the MOBO. The multimeter gives good reads on the adapter. I cannot seem to get a good read off the DC Jack... Is this a bad dc jack that would cause the ticking?

Sounds like a factory defect to me. I'd try sending it back for a new one if you still can.

Not a very productive answer, but thanks anyways.

Anyone else have an idea of what could be causing the ticking?
