Well the Asus P8P67 PRO is the better board out of the two since it can SLI/CF at x8 x8 while the second PCIe x16 slot on the Gigabyte board runs at x4 speed. They both have revision B3 chipset after the recall earlier this year!

You won't be able to find a non-B3 chipset board in the US any more. Other countries maybe, but not worth risking it in any case.

Those two boards aren't comparable, as one can do SLI and the other can't. The UD4 from Gigabyte is the one that's comparable to the Pro from ASUS.

In case you are wondering, the B3 version has a fix from Intel.

Intel discovered that the chipset's four SATA 2 ports could fail after being used for a while. The B3 version fixes that problem.
