1G ATI Radeon 5450, 5570, nVidia GT 320, GT 230 choice

I'm having to replace current HP d4100E system which is having some motherboard problems. Hope to order new system on Monday (or earlier).

I'm probably getting the HP HPE 380T. My options for graphics card (with the Radeon HD5450 being the base price item) are:

Radeon HD5450 (1 GB)
Radeon HD5570 [DVI,HDMI, DP, VGA adapter] (1 GB) + $20.00
Radeon HD5570 [DVI,HDMI, DP, VGA adapter] (2 GB) + $60.00
Radeon HD4850 [2 DVI, HDMI and VGA adapters] (1 GB) + $90.00
GeForce GT320 [DVI, HDMI, VGA] (1 GB) + $20.00
GeForce GT230 [DVI, HDMI, VGA] (1.5 GB) + $30.00

I'm assuming that all of these will cover adjoining slot, but if one doesn't, let me know since very vew slots are available. Primary focus is performance for Photoshop and Lightroom. I don't game. Will use 2 monitors. I don't need the absolute best but want something that will handle upgrades to LR 3 and PS CS5, e.g.

Thanks for help!

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Photo editing and printing (Adobe Lightroom 2.0, Photoshop CS3); web design (Dreamweaver); page layout (InDesign); recording video to disk (occasionally) gaming not a concern

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: 450 watt [can swap in a 500 w ps from old system]

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: HP 380T (same motherboard as prebuilt 270f)

PARTS PREFERENCES: Have used nVidia in past but either is fine

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Will attach 2 monitors

More about radeon 5450 5570 nvidia choice
  1. If no gaming is going on then either stick with the default 5450 or go with the 5570 for $20.
  2. adobe lightroom does not have demanding graphic specs. I've never used it but I have read that Nvidia works better with it. Although they never state why and it could just be simple product loyalty. The ATI 5450 is more then enough for your needs, as are the two Nvidia cards.
