625w + for ATI 5850 in CF
700w+ for the ATI 5870 in CF

corsair, seasonic, antec, xfx, silverstone, enermax are all very good brands
OCZ is a solid brand with more budget friendly prices.

1. SLI is associated with a multi video card setup built using Nvidia cards.. For AMD/ATI cards, the term used is Crossfire..

2. A good 750W PSU will be enough for handling two 5870/5850 cards.. Corsair, XFX, Seasonic are few of the brands to choose from.. If you are interested in a direct (without much explanation) recommendation then please state your budget.. My personal recommendation will be the XFX 750W Black Edition..

3. To understand the 80 plus certifications more clearly, refer to this -
