Hello, computer failed to boot up. As soon as any key is selected the boot menu freezes and no further operation can be selected. I restarted the computer and entered BIOS mode. Ran start-up test and received 'memory test failed'

Register or log in to remove.

Sounds like you have a bad chip. If you have two memory chips remove one at a time and see if it will boot. That will tell you which one is bad. If you have one chip then I would buy some new memory.
