Hello,

Im trying to firgure out which is a better choice, a Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 or a GeForce 240 1024MB. I do plan on using it for gaming but I will mainly use it for Maya and zBrush (3D modeling and 3D animation Rendering)

not even comparable 5770 blows the 240 out of the water, 5770 is more then twice the speed of 240,

not a fair match, you should compare it to a GT260, but if ur gonna choose between the 2, the AMD wins

thanks a lot guys. I had read this a while back but kinda forgot about it. I just got the HD 5770 today but i still haven't tested it out. Im sure it'll work better than what I need.

It can run Battlefield Bad Company 2 at around 30fps at the Maximum setting I think, hve fun,............
