HD 3200 graphics question.

Hello,
I have an ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card with 1918 mb of memory why does GTA IV only recognize 250mb of it?

If I remember right, HD 3200 is a onboard graphics card which uses part of your 2GB memory.

You might be able to change the shared amount of memory in the BIOS to maybe 512MB.

Agree with emerald, also, i doubt you can play GTA IV smoothly with onboard graphic card...

Your board probably only has 256MB of side port memory for the HD 3200, the side port memory is like the dedicated memory on a discrete graphic card. GTA IV likely only recognizes dedicated memory since shared memory is significantly slower.
