Is this enough power?

im thinking about buying a second hd 5850 video card and i wanted to know if ill have enough power to run it.

my current specs are

hd 5850 (GPU)
asus crosshair formula 3 (MB)
8 gigs of ddr3 ram @ 1333 2x4 gb
amd phenom x4 965 (OCed@3.8)

and my PS is an XfX 650 W modular power supply

so would i be safe or am i pushing it a little to much?

  1. You will be pushing it with an ATI 5850 at 650 watt PSU. I would recommend no less than a 750 watt PSU for a dual ATI 58xx setup.

    Yes it is enough power! Here are Sapphire requirements for HD5850
    "# 500 Watt Power Supply is required.
    # 600 Watt Power Supply is recommended for CrossFireX™ System.
    # 2 X 75Watt 6-pin PCI Express power connector is required.
    # 4 X 75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express power connector is required for CrossFireX™ system."
