i HAVE 500 GB HD. I MAKE IT 4 PARTITIONS C, D, E, F. I USED WIN-7 AS OS IN C. AGAIN I USED D ALSO LOADED WITH THE SAME OS. NOW I WANT TO DELETE OS ON ANY ONE OF THE PARTITION. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE. WHEN I AM TRYING TO FORMAT IT IS NOT WORKING.

Please do not type your post in caps it's rude and makes it hard to read , people that type in all caps are said to be shouting or yelling.
You need to go to diak management and you can delet your unwanted partitions there. You cannot format a partition if it has a Windows folder on it , you will have to delete the partition and then make a new one and then you can format it.
To get to disk management you need to right click on computer and select manage then in the next window select disk management in the next window you will be in disk management.
