I'm interested in getting an SSD for my system with a capacity from 60-90GB. This is my first system SSD so, I thought might as well ask those more well informed than me their opinions. I've shortlisted it down to 3 models,
Scratch that, I've read up on more and have revised my choices to these two:
1. Kingston HyperX 3K 90GB
2. SanDisk Extreme SSD
2. OCZ Agility 3 60GB
3. OCZ Vertex 4 64GB All 3 are Sandforce based SSDs. The Kingston one is the fastest but also the most expensive. The Agility 3 has a very attractive price point and good speeds and the Vertex 4 strike middle-ground.
My maximum budget would be 100USD.
Both the Kingston and SanDisk SSD perform about the same with the Kingston getting the slight edge. But, SanDisk uses their own NAND controllers and have better in-house engineering. This leads me to wonder which I should go with.
My specs are:
