Scanner precision

Hello,
I use a scanner - printer HP CM 1312inf to scanner pictures. I need high precision to print. I have problem: all pictures printed are not same details as on the screen. Please tell me a solution. Thank you very much.

have you changed your printers DPI setting to the highest possible setting?
