I need help guys i can not figure this out... HDMI/video card/mobo i want it all be compatible with my monitor.

GPU has one min-HDMI and 2 DVI ports and i do not see mobo having any. Is it compatible? Should i run HDMI to mini-HDMI to video card or should i run HDMI to DVI cord?

I meant for me since i am getting a GPU so an onboard chipset would be a waste, correct? I am trying to save as much money as possible. Originally i was not planning to spend that much on the build, i had to stretch my budget.

So in your opinion i am ready to order? Mobo, Ram, CPU, PSU everything g2g and compatible? Would 600W OCZ PSU be plenty for me? I am using a single GPU, no SLI in the future, the mobo has only one PCIe slot. Also it says it has 2 USB 3.0 ports, no USB 2.0. My wireless keyboard and mouse run through a USB port, would i have any issues using 3.0 ports? (i do not think so, just making sure) I have included the links to the combos for easy look up and the specifications.

I read some reviews and it said that chip on the mobo does not use all the features of the Black Edition AMD PCU, but it is a good mobo for the price with usb3.0, SATA, and memOK with 1600 option, also easy to OC.

Please take a look at everything and if i get a "g2g" i am making the order tonight. Thank you.

Nice mobo/ram combo.

I am trying to find a cpu/case combo now.

I think for $20 extra I would rather get a 23'' screen instead of 21.5'' which does not come with DVI or HDMI cables, unless you suggest that it is a much better quality?

thanks

^ Well there are only Rosewill cases in the combo...but this case looks pretty good though...

Or get the CPU Cooler combo and get another case...

As for the monitor, well its your choice...I dont think that LG is significantly better...
But how about this ?
15% coupon code: ACY58341 (expire soon) - $50 off = $162.49 plus FREE shipping.
But comes with VGA cable though...

IMO HP does make good monitors...

Thank You! You just helped me save around 80 bucks and get a better GPU.

I hope that case and ram are as good or near my original choices.

As for CPU cooler, i am going to wait, i will do a basic OC to 3.4 or 3.6Ghz and see how the system behaves with stock cooler.

One last question: Would 600W OCZ PSU be plenty for me? I am using a single GPU, no SLI in the future, the mobo has only one PCIe slot. Also it says it has 2 USB 3.0 ports, no USB 2.0. My wireless keyboard
and mouse run through a USB port, would i have any issues using 3.0 ports? (i do not think so, just making sure)

PSU - That 600W would suffice...

Mobo - No USB2.0 ? Well it has many actually(12 x USB 2.0 ports (6 ports at mid-board, 6 ports at back panel))...though not specified @ newegg...

CASE - That Rosewill from the reviews, does seem a very good value for money IMO...
Memory - IMO Mushkin is one of the best memory manufacturers, maybe even better than GSKillz...

You got me sold, Sir.

Thank you for the mobo clarification and i read the reviews on the case, and yes.. indeed, it is a great case for the money. I was also looking into Phenom 965 combo with another Rosewill case for an extra $30 or so, but i am going to stick with 955 instead, the case has better reviews and the extra $30 will not be worth the slight increase in CPU power.

The last question i have is about the TV you suggested. It is a great deal, i like it a lot, great manufacturer, but it does not seem to have HDMI?

My original thought was to run HDMI 1.3 from GPU (using a miniHDMI to HDMI adapter as suggested by Batuchka) to the monitor for a better picture, color depth and 1080p... or would i get the same picture going DVI instead? Thanks once again.

Wait... i am confused.... It is supposed to be HDMI but it says "VGA DVI-D HDCP" for the video input....

I am so lost in these tech-terms, sucks being a noob. Couple days ago i knew absolutely nothing, and now i know, well... at least something :D

I was going to get the 23" with HDMI for $174, but unfortunately they will charge me $14.40 Tax and $16.00 Recycling fee as per Cali state laws.... to a toal of $200.

I am thinking i will go with newegg, at least these guys will not charge me Recycling fee, only Tax.

Thank you for all your help.

How about amazon ? Do they charge extra ?
These dont have HDMI, but are very good though...
