Corsair CMPSU-850HX 850watt enough?

is the corsair CMPSU-850HX enough for cross fire 6870 graphics card on a asus motherbored crosshair iv formula bored. in a antec 1200 case with 8gb of ddr3 ram. and if i wanted to over clock the processor which is a amd 1090t. to say 4ghz+ and running 2 hard drives. or one ssd and one hdd.

    Yeah its more than enough. The 68xx series draws less than the 58xx cards and you can run 2 5870s on a 750TX with no problem, an 850HX will handle them with a ton of overhead left for overclocking.
  2. A 650W would do but get a 750W. XFX 750 are made by Seasonic and also modular like the HX.

    would the 750HX be enough too.. and whats the differance between the xfx 750 and the corsair 750HX
  5. The 750HX would be plenty too, so would the XFX 750. The XFX unit is newer, it came out earlier this year and has a 5 year warranty vs the 7 year on the 750HX, but both are excellent units, when comparing units that close in performance and both well above average it comes down to price for me.
