Hi guys my Presario F500 notebook dose not want to read the internal hard drive for some reason. I have been trying to reformat but the installation process can only detect my external hdd? Been slowly working through drivers to see what's causing the problem, can't go on line either to update driers as my wireless cant connect to my Netgear DGBN200 modem. Damn am I havin a tough time hear. I probably copped a virus but can't seem to get passed these problems. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I will have to check the BIOS and let you know haven't done that as yet.
I can open up C:/drive and access all my folders and run software already installed yet the hard drive still can't be detected when trying to reinstall Vista.
