Is my storage to fault (windows installation freezing)?
Nov 18, 2012, 8:44 AM
So i finished putting together my first pc, and when installing windows i get an error, the bios works perfectly and the hdd spins and so does the optical drive (you can hear it)
So i booted windows from disk using an iso from a torrent website for a 30 day trial just so i have spare cash incase.
the windows loading files screen, gets to about 15% loading files and freezes for a minute or two then gets a:
Unexpected I/O error 0xc000000e9
i switched around the sata ports, made sure they are firm pushed into the hard drive and optical drive too.
what should I do, how can i work out whats to fault?
